Strawberry Season is Over!

Sad, but true. We were hoping to stay open into the weekend, but there just aren't any more berries to pick. As always, it was a short but sweet season. Thanks to all of you who made it out this year to pick. Hope to see you on the farm again next year.

The turnout at the farm has been stupendous and as a result the fields need a day to ripen before being picked again. Sorry for the mid-week hiatus, but it will make the picking much better on Thursday. As before, come early if you are picking for the freezer.

Strawberry Update: Saturday June 26

The strawberry pickers have been plentiful and as a result, there are fewer ripe berries in the fields. With such a big turnout, we recommend that you come before 10am to get the best picking. We'll keep you updated if anything changes. For now, there are still delicious strawberries to pick, but it takes a little extra time to find them.

ABOUT OUR RASPBERRIES

We are listed in the Vermont Organic Growers guide as having PYO raspberries. This needs a little clarification. We are selling some of our fall crop picked, at the Plainfield and Barre Farmers' Markets. PYO will be
available by appointment only, and will begin about the 1st of October. Give us a call at 454-8466 if you want to be on the list. The price will be $4.00 per pint.
